Crop Performance, Soil Health, and Water Stewardship

NutriHarvest® products are supported by field results across multiple crops, with findings tied to crop performance, nutrient stewardship, and product validation. Highlights below summarize selected yield and nutrient-loss outcomes from published results. Validation sources include University Extension-led field trials, greenhouse validation work, and customer/grower stories.

Key highlights

  • Strong yield results across multiple crops
  • Lower nitrate-loss outcomes in selected comparisons
  • OMRI Listed and USDA Certified Biobased credentials on selected products

CORN

Validation Source:
University of Vermont Extension

Results:

  • Yield response: +14.2% vs untreated control

  • Yield comparison: +11.4 bu/ac vs a leading organic commercial fertilizer under equal-N conditions

  • Water/nutrient stewardship: about 45% less nitrate release

BEETS

Validation Source:
University of Vermont Extension

Results:

  • Yield: approximately 25% above hemp seed meal, 21% above soybean meal, 12% above urea, and 9% above a commercial market brand for one NutriHarvest® formulation.
  • A second NutriHarvest® formulation delivered yield about 6% above hemp seed meal and 2% above soybean meal.
  • Soil findings showed distinct nutrient profiles across treatments, with significant differences in magnesium, calcium, sulfur, iron, and boron.

GREEN BEANS

Validation Source:
University of Vermont Extension

Results:

  • Yield: NutriHarvest® formulations delivered green bean yields approximately 13% to 15% above hemp seed meal and 3% to 4% above a commercial market brand.
  • Field work also provided a season-long view of soil nitrate patterns and nutrient timing.
  • Results suggested strong yield performance can coexist with meaningful differences in nutrient release patterns and soil nutrient status.

LETTUCE

Validation Source:
University of Vermont Extension

Results:

  • Trials in greenhouse environment showed significant differences in germination, seedling yellowing, and yield across treatments.
  • The 10% treatment stayed close to the control on germination while leading overall on yield and showing lower seedling yellowing than the control.
  • Higher amendment rates were less consistent, and the 30% rate showed the weakest establishment and growth.
  • Results suggested that adding NutriHarvest at a lower rate may improve lettuce establishment and yield performance, reinforcing that nutrient release timing matters in short-cycle crops.

WATER / NUTRIENT STEWARDSHIP

Validation Source:
University of Vermont Extension

Results:

  • About 45% less nitrate release in corn
  • 56–68% lower late-season residual soil nitrate

Manufacturing process: captures up to 90% to 95% of nitrogen and phosphorus from selected residuals to help reduce nutrient runoff.
